on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made;
and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it:
because that in it he had rested from all his work which
God created and made.
The number seven is often associated with
Pretty Good going, but then again time is relative.
The way we measure time is only relative to the earth's cycles
Seven days to us could be several billion millenia in the universe.
We even lose or gain time going from one place to another.
YOU TELL ME THAT IT'S EVOLUTION
I recetly watched a documentary about Charles
The narrator said there was so much proof for evolution that he no
longer believe in God.
Although he went onto talk about 'life' evolving.
I agree that there is undoubted proof of life evolving over millions
But what is 'life'? I believe that life is the spirit, the energy and
spark that makes physical matter animated and alive.
This spiritual energy, which is in all living things and is what some
people call 'God'.
Therefore to not believe in god is not to believe in life, which is
a rediculous concept.
It is the unseen creative force that makes life happen as well as evolve
in it's inifite
and beautiful forms, the design and formula of life has an intelligence
way beyond human capabilities of understanding.
Evolution and gentics merely explain the repoductive process of life
and natural selection show how life has adapted and improved itself.
But it doesn't explain what life is, or why.
There is no real reason to argue about creation versus evolution both
are true, Creation is the spirit of life and Nature is physical which,
through genetics reproduces and evolves.
I really don't think we were ever supposed to take the Bible literally
and believe that Adam and Eve was an
actual fact. Although you can see why as a concept, it has logical- It
takes a man and a woman to make a baby therefore there must have been
an original man and woman. Although, to populate the planet Eve must
have reproduced with one of her own sons, probably the evil one who killed
his brother! It's just a story!!! Like most of the bible it is a story
with a meaning, it also tell us that by being tempted by greed we
lose our paradise. Planet Earth is Eden and human behaviour is destroying
paradise right enough.
